Kindercampus
KBS Onder De Bogen and Kind & Co Ludens work together in Kindercampus Onder De Bogen. In doing so, we coordinate the curriculum of the school and the provision of childcare as much as possible, we make use of each other's expertise and employees and we set common goals.
Children's campus Onder De Bogen offers, among other things:
Before-school care (VSO)
VSO Onder De Bogen offers child care on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. The childminder takes the children to school and ensures that the transfer to the teacher goes smoothly. More information about VSO Onder De Bogen is found on their website.
Lunch break child care (TSO)
In Dutch schools, children have traditionally had the option of going home for lunch or staying at school—known as “overblijven.”The school has asked KMN Kind & Co to facilitate child care during the afternoon lunch break In this way, children see the same faces both during and after school! Because it is not possible to play outside with all of our students at the same time, there are different times for the different groups:

The outdoor play area is adjacent to the building, but the neighbourhood park is also a fun challenge to explore. Crafts, building, unwinding, acting, sports—it is all possible at BSO Onder De Bogen. There is plenty of room for all kinds of imaginative activities!
After-school care (BSO)
BSO Onder De Bogenmakes use of learning plazas, kitchen podium and a playroom. The learning plazas are bright and colourfully decorated. We offer a wide range of activities that take the children's wishes into account. The activities relate to the themes offered at school. Moments of rest are alternated with moments of creative and sporting activities; both indoors and outside. The children are encouraged to participate in the activities as much as possible, but we don't force anything. We also consider free play an activity. During the holidays, childcare is available all day and the activities are adjusted accordingly.

Nursery
Peutergroep Onder De Bogen provides education for children from 2.5 to 4 years old and aims to provide children with a good start at primary school. We work closely with KSU Onder De Bogen. For example, we work on the same themes, ensuring continuity in education. This is nice for the children, but also means brothers and sisters who are already at school recognize the themes and are working on the same things at school.
Three times a year there is a gentle transfer from the nursery to the school and we talk briefly about the children who are about to turn 4 years old. This smooths the transition from nursery to primary school. We regularly organize joint activities with the school. In the playground we share with Onder De Bogen, we have our own enclosed square for the younger children. It is a cozy playground with a sandbox and a storage room where you can find everything. We also regularly play on the main playground. We also do weekly gym classes in the school playroom.
